Terms of use
CORTINADECOR WEB S.L. (Tax ID No.: B54472170) is the owner of this website, operating under the commercial name "CORTINADECOR". These general conditions have been drawn up in accordance with the Civil Code and the Code of Commerce, Law 7/1996, of 15 January, on the Organisation of Retail Trade, Law 7/1998, of 13 April, on General Contracting Conditions, and Law 7/1995, of 23 March, on Consumer Credit. These terms and conditions, together with the confirmation of your order, constitute the contract between you and this company. To make a purchase, the buyer must be at least 18 years of age.
- Shipping and returns:
The prices specified by our shop are valid for the whole of Spain and include VAT (or General Indirect Canary Islands Tax). Delivery times will differ according to the product and measurements. To find out the exact delivery times, see each product's profile page. Ordered items will always be delivered within the agreed delivery time unless the customer asks to receive the goods after that date, in which case it will be necessary to choose the corresponding option in the relevant section of "step no. 1" of the ordering process. An any case, the delivery times will count from the moment we have confirmation of having received the transfer / deposit in our bank account in payment for your order.
For customers who choose to pay by credit card, the delivery time will count from the following working day, which is when the transaction will be confirmed. All delivery times are given in working days, i.e. from Monday to Friday, not counting bank holidays. If you make a deposit or a transfer from the same bank as the one mentioned in the "Methods of payment" section your order will be processed immediately. If you make a transfer from another bank, bear in mind that it will take at least 2 working days. The transport company will make deliveries from Monday to Friday in the morning or afternoon (*). Should the time offered by the transport company not suit you, you may change or refuse it and arrange another day, which could slightly delay the delivery of your goods. We recommend that if you cannot reach an agreement with the transport company you should contact us so that we can help you handle the situation. (*) Bear in mind that if your location is far from a large town or city, e.g. villages in the country or the mountains, there may be a more limited choice of delivery days and times.
At CORTINADECOR we will personally track the delivery of your order and should there be any problem, we will contact you to let you know. Note: If, having agreed a date for the transport company to deliver the goods, it is not possible to make the delivery because the customer is not at home, the customer may be charged extra for subsequent attempts to deliver. In the event of failure to meet the delivery date specified for each item by more than 10 working days, the buyer may decide to cancel the order and receive a refund. If it has been delayed because the transport company has not been able to locate the buyer using the details given by him/her, this will not be considered failure to deliver. All orders are insured in transit for 100% of the value of the goods. If your order is damaged in transit, you must specify the anomalies on the transport company's delivery note. No claims will be accepted more than 24 hours after receipt of the goods. Any claim resulting from damage in transit must be brought to the attention of Cortinadecor.com within that time.
Remember never to throw away the packaging of the products until you have checked that they are in perfect condition. Before opening any package, please check that all the products coincide with the products you ordered (model, colour, measurement, finish, etc.), informing us immediately if anything is not correct. Note: Should there be a problem, please do not remove the product from its original packaging. You will have 7 days from receiving the order to send it back, in which case you must contact us so that we can process it. Bear in mind that you must pay the transport and administrative costs resulting from returning your order if it is for reasons outside CORTINADECOR's control.
If you decide to return the goods:
* Refunds will be made within a period of 15 working days.
* Any costs deriving from returns will be paid by the customer if the reasons are not related to CORTINADECOR. Guarantees. All our products are guaranteed against manufacturing flaws within Spanish territory for two years as of the date of purchase (the date on your invoice), unless the manufacturer gives a longer period, which you will see on the product profile page and / or on the guarantee card that will be included with the product.
Our guarantee covers transport and labour costs and the repair or replacement of the faulty item. The service does not include substitution of the material that replaces items being repaired or to be changed. CORTINADECOR undertakes to carry out any repairs or replacements as quickly as possible. Our guarantee does not cover damage caused by misuse and normal wear and tear. Note: In the event of a claim, the transport company will take away the goods in exactly the same state in which they were delivered. If the claim is made some time after the goods were delivered and the customer does not have the original packaging, he/she must package the goods him/herself so that they are suitably protected on arrival at their destination. At the customer's request, for a price of €15 we can send any kind of packaging to ensure that the product is returned to us in good condition. If the manufacturer or technical service decide that the returned product does not present any defects resulting from normal use or manufacturing flaws, the customer must pay the resulting transport and handling costs. For items that have the manufacturer's guarantee card, it will not be necessary for the establishment to stamp it. You should simply staple the guarantee card to the invoice that will be sent with your order. For products where the guarantee is stuck or sewn onto the product, simply keep the invoice as proof of purchase.
