Hunter Douglas España, S.A. (A08082521)  is the owner of this website, operated under the commercial name of ‘Cortinadecor’. The present general conditions are formulated conforming to the Civil and Commercial Codes, Law 7/1996, of 15th January, from ordination of minor commerce, law 7/1995, of 13th April, of General Contractual Conditions and law 7/1995, of 23rd of March, of Consumer Credit. These terms and conditions, together with your order confirmation, constitute the contract between our company and yourselves. In order to place an order the purchaser must be at least 18 years old.

Services offered on the website

The website offers a made to measure service (for curtains). In order to make a purchase it is necessary to register as a client. During the registration phase users must fill in their details in order to complete the purchase as a company/professional or individual. Only the purchases made by individuals will be subject to applicable consumer regulations. All final prices of the products are shown in Euros and can be seen with or without IVA. The prices of the products may be subject to periodic changes. Delivery charges may be included for some products or offers. For the rest of the products the delivery charges are payable by the purchaser.

Choice of product and method of purchase

After correctly registering, the client may choose the model, select the measurements and characteristics one by one, personalizing the curtain (???blind etc or product) and adding the quantity to their shopping basket.

Payment

The client may purchase the chosen products using four payment methods.

The first method is by credit card, paying the full amount of the order, or half the amount, and the 50% remaining by cash on delivery.

The second method is by bank transfer. It will be necessary to indicate the order reference number to identify the transfer. The order will be made once the bank transfer has been received.

Another form of payment is through PayPal, that, similar to credit card payment.

 

Responsibility of users regarding photographic content

The selection of images to be printed on the curtain, together with any authorization for copying, if this is necessary, is the exclusive responsibility of the purchaser. Cortinadecor will check that the archive has the technical requisites for graphic compatibility.

Cortinadecor will not be responsible for the unauthorized use of images by the user or of any type of third party violation of rights upon which could exist. Therefore the purchaser exempts Cortinadecor of all responsibility towards third parties who may allege violations of their intellectual property rights, damages to the image, honor, decorum, moral integrity or any patrimonial or non patrimonial damages caused by the printing of the image and contents uploaded by the user.

*Except for the customs fees and town council fees that are charged to the client and shall be paid, at the request of the customs services at the time of receiving the order. For sales made in the Canary Islands, Ceuta, Melilla, Andorra and other customs destinations, users must pay the 'IGIC' or tax of the territory in question, the corresponding tariffs based on the generic tariff classification.

In all the products that they find in guarantee and that exist had send by motives of break or damages(flaws), Cortinadecor will pay the costs of the product but in no case the postage and handling that always will go at the expense of the client.

Delivery, delivery timescale and shipment tracking

Delivery times vary depending on the product selected, the description of each product specifies manufacturing time. If you order different products your total order will be delivered within the manufacturing time of the main order.

Shipments will be sent via courier agency. This company will arrange delivery of your order at the address you provided. Please note the carrier is not obliged to deliver to apartments, only to street level. Deliveries are made from Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 19: 00hs. For other time slots and days of delivery, consult for prices. You will receive an e-mail or sms the day before to keep you informed.

The manufacturing times are detailed in each product, to this we must add the shipping time, these being between 24-48 working hours from the departure of the order from our factory. Except islands, Ceuta, Melilla and Andorra that transit times may vary. For international shipments, delivery times also vary, depending on each country.

Cortinadecor does not deliver products on Saturdays, Sundays, national, regional and local holidays.

Cortinadecor is not responsible for delays in the delivery of your merchandise, due to transport incidents, absence of recipient, changes of address by the client or wrong telephone number.

It is essential to indicate a correct telephone number corresponding to the country of destination of the merchandise.

Cortinadecor is not responsible for additional EXPENSES that may be generated in customs, which are not exclusive of transport, such as taxes and exclusive tariffs of each country.

IMPORTANT: You must indicate on the delivery note transport any anomaly observed in the packaging of your package to open your claim

Track Your Order: When your product has left our factory we will send you a tracking e-mail with a shortcut link to the shipping company website, so you can verify the location of your order. Rerturn and cancellation of orders

For any claim on an order, you have 15 days from receipt to check the status of your order, once this time passed Cortinadecor is not responsible for the return of this product.

Consumer users may exercise the right of withdrawal or return. If you wish to cancel your order or make any changes you must contact us within 3 hours of making your order. To do this you must send an email to info@cortinadecor.com with your details and your order number, in which you must specify modifications or cancellation of the order. You can call us at 966181033 during business hours. It is important to inform you that during this time the product could already be in production therefore it may not be possible to cancel the delivery. If we have been able to cancel, the total amount of the order will be refunded by the same payment method.

Return

Every product we make is made exclusively for you, with measurements, fabric, your colour selection, there may be variations in the shade due to your monitor settings and it is possible to request free samples to avoid possible errors in tone, for this reason in no case will we refund money but we will take the appropriate steps to resolve any problems that may have arisen.

If the product is defective or if there is an error in the delivered product, Cortinadecor will accept responsibility and will send you a new product as soon as possible. You must advise us of the error within 7 days of receipt of the order. It is recommended that if you notice any damage to the shipping container you should note this on the delivery sheet.

Cancellations

Cortinadecor reserves the right of cancellation of any order by computer error or by errors in the displayed prices.

Which elements contains the mechanism?

The mechanism contains necessary this elements for proper installation: chain keeper (screw 4.2x 45mm), brackets (screw 3.9 x 32 mm) plastic dowel (6 mm) and Bracket (wall/ceiling).

For safety reasons, mechanisms have incorporated the chain safety device (wall mounting).

The chain safety device should be installed so that chain/cord remains taut to allow handling of the mechanism.

1) If chain drop has not been specified, please be aware that it is required by law to be delivered as follows:

• 1m drop chain for mechanism less than 250 cm height

• 1.5 m drop chain for mechanisms more than 250 cm height

With the intention that children cannot gain control go these mechanisms and avoid the risk oF strangulation.

2) It is highly recommended a distance of 1.5 m between chain and floor.

• Chain drop can be requested at any length under your responsibility Cortinadeocor it’s not responsible for discrepancies with regard to chain height if it has not been previously specified by the costumer.

• The manufacturer reserves the right to change or modify the design of its products without notice maintaining its functionality.

Guarantee of our products

All our products are guaranteed against manufacturing defects for three years from the date of delivery of your order.

These 3 years may be extended, in this case it will be noted in the product information and the warranty card included.

It is exempt from reproduction of any product handled by the customer before proceeding with its return or replacement.

The seller is responsible for the lack of conformity that manifests itself within two years of delivery.

The consumer and user must inform the seller of the lack of conformity within two months of having knowledge of it.
