CONFIANZA ONLINE is the first self-regulatory system to be acknowledged by the Spanish authorities and has been classed as a “public online trust mark”, as it complies with the requirements of Royal Decree 292/2004, of 20 February.
By joining CONFIANZA ONLINE, CORTINADECOR has assumed the following commitments:
1. To respect the rules of CONFIANZA ONLINEs “Ethical code on e-commerce and interactive advertising” in its advertising activities and/or contractual transactions with consumers that are carried out remotely via electronic communication.
2. To submit to AUTOCONTROLs Complaints Committee (Jurado de la Publicidad) for the settlement of claims filed for alleged breach of the rules of the “Ethical code” regarding advertising. To immediately abide by and comply with the content of settlements thus issued by the Complaints Committee.
3. To submit to arbitration by the National Consumer Arbitration Council (Junta Arbitral Nacional de Consumo) for the settlement of claims filed for alleged breach of the rules of the “Ethical code” regarding e-commerce with consumers, when it has not been possible to settle them by the aforementioned means.
