With the opaque fabric they cannot see.
In this video we will show you how to align the gears to correct the defect and make it work correctly.

The opaque fabrics are made to not allow light to pass through. In this way, we get privacy and darkness, which makes them the best choice if we don't have blinds in the bedroom or in a screening room. The fabric does not let light through, but it can enter from the sides as the blind, panel or vertical slat is not fully adjusted as a blind can be.
In this table you will find the measurements of the vertical laminate on both sides.
*All measurements are in centimeters.
Yes, but it will have to be done with a budget, with our commercial department and the number of blades will always be even.
1. Ceiling Installation
When the slats are installed on the ceiling, we recommend fixing the brackets at a distance of 12 cm from the wall, in order to have a minimum space of 5 cm between the slats and the wall.
2. Wall installation
When the blades are installed on the wall, the distance (D) between the blades and the wall depends on the blade width (L) and the size of the fixing square (E):
The grey boxes indicate the centimetre length of the rail, while the white boxes indicate the approximate number of slats for that size.
In this table you will find the dimensions of the vertical slats on one side.

As they are technical fabrics, vertical slat blinds are very easy to clean, as they can only be cleaned with a damp cloth and a few drops of neutral soap.
It is not recommended, under any circumstances, to immerse or wash the slats in water, as the fabric will lose its sizing and, therefore, its shape. Do not rub the stain hard either, as this can damage the fabric and even cause it to lose colour in the area.
This type of fabric, under normal conditions, repels dust, so a quarterly cleaning and a little more thorough wiping with a cloth in case they have any splash stains, will be more than enough.

Both are great, but there are particularities of each that can influence the customer's choice:
With a rod, when you pull the curtain down, you must pull the rod, so that the force to move the blades is done by the person.
While witha cord, the blades mechanically move sideways, simply by pulling the cord.
The fabric of the Opaque Colors slats, as its name suggests, is a 100% Opaque Black Out fabric, that is, it does not let light pass through it. Manufactured with two different textures, one with a fabric effect that will remain inside our house, and another gummed with a tone similar to the color of the fabric.
The vertical slats rotate 180°, allowing you to control the total amount of light entering your home. The overlapping of the slats provides visual balance, spaciousness, and personality to the room. There may be a slight gap between them, due to the flexible nature of this system. This product allows you to choose from different slat widths and stacking options to suit your needs. The bottom of the product is equipped with PVC chains and hidden counterweights that keep the slats straight, preventing the fabric from deteriorating due to rubbing or impacts. If you are looking for reliability, quality, and a product tailored to your needs, we have it at Cortinadecor.
